Diplomas & Advanced Diplomas

ADVANCED/DIPLOMA OF MINISTRY & ADVANCED/DIPLOMA OF THEOLOGY

Students can enrol for either the Advanced/Diploma of Ministry or the Advanced/Diploma of Theology (conferred by the Australian College of Theology). These courses require 1-1.5 years of full-time study or the equivalent part-time.

Diplomas introduce students to the sources and content of the Christian story and message and provide training that emphasises application and articulation of this story and message in the contemporary world. They provide a foundation of knowledge and skills for Christian ministry, but not necessarily of the breadth and depth required for ministry ordination. Information about course learning outcomes is available at the Australian College of Theology website.
