Rev Dr Andrew Stewart LLB, MDiv, ThD
Andrew Stewart served as minister of the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Geelong for more than twenty years, and congregations in Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Australia for more than thirty years. As well as pastoring and teaching, Andrew has written commentaries on First Chronicles and Second Chronicles as well as Deuteronomy for the popular Welwyn Commentary Series with Evangelical Press. Andrew holds a law degree from The Queen’s University of Belfast and obtained qualifications in Theology from the Reformed Theological College, Belfast, and the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh. He completed his doctoral work at the Melbourne School of Theology (Australian College of Theology). The title of his doctoral thesis was ‘The Three Accounts of Paul’s Conversion in Acts 9, 22 and 26: A Study of Consistency and Creativity in Narrative Retelling.’
Andrew has also served an Adjunct Lecturer since 2019 and taught multiple units as a guest lecturer before then. He is married to Katie (originally from Xiamen, China), and they have two adult children.
